Gianpaolo has over 20 years of experience in commercial law and intellectual property, both at national and international level. His areas of practice include commercial law, new media law, and high technology law. Gianpaolo serves as a board member of several Italian and international startups, tech companies, and cultural foundations. He works in Italian, English, and French.

Curriculum

Born in Mountain View, California (USA) on March 13, 1971, he graduated in law in 1997 from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. During his studies, he attended the Columbia University in New York for an advanced course in American law and, in 1995/1996, the Université Paris X - Nanterre.

In 1997, he worked at the law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel in Paris as a visiting foreign lawyer. In 1999, he obtained an LL.M. in High Technology Law from Santa Clara University School of Law, in the heart of Silicon Valley.

He is a lecturer in intellectual property law at the Università Parthenope, within the Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, in collaboration with the MIT Sloan School of Management, the business school of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Gianpaolo is admitted to the Milan Bar Association.
