Eu Law & Antitrust

We support our clients with highly specialized expertise in competition law and antitrust, combined with solid and well-established experience in antitrust proceedings before the European Union competition authorities, including the European Commission and national authorities, first and foremost the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM).

The Firm represents clients in litigation before the Court of Justice of the European Union, the TAR Lazio, the Italian Council of State, as well as before the ordinary civil courts in private antitrust enforcement actions, including claims for damages arising from breaches of competition law.

We have recently been involved in anti-dumping and trade defense proceedings at EU level, as well as in Canada and the United States, assisting companies in complex investigations with significant economic impact.

The Firm has also developed extensive experience in EU law, in particular in matters relating to State aid, the fundamental freedoms of the internal market, and a broad range of commercial practices, including online and offline distribution systems, licensing arrangements, and cooperation and R&D agreements.

Our clients operate in key industrial sectors such as steel, chemicals, large-scale retail (GDO), telecommunications and branded consumer goods. We also advise trade and industry associations, providing ongoing antitrust and competition law advice, with a strong focus on compliance, risk prevention and business protection.

The Firm’s practice is aimed at ensuring full compliance with competition rules, effective management of antitrust investigations and litigation, and the protection of clients’ competitive positioning in both national and international markets.
