Gianpaolo has over twenty years of experience in commercial law and intellectual property law, both nationally and internationally. His Practice Areas commercial law, new media law, and new technology law.
Gianpaolo serves on the boards of directors of several Italian and foreign startups, technology companies, and cultural foundations.
He teaches intellectual property law at Parthenope University as part of the Master’s program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, offered in collaboration with the MIT Sloan School of Management, the business school of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Gianpaolo works in Italian, English, and French.

Born in Mountain View, California (USA), on March 13, 1971, he earned his law degree in 1997 from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. During his studies, he attended Columbia University in New York, where he took an advanced course in American law, and, during the 1995–1996 academic years, the Université de Paris X – Nanterre.
In 1997, he worked at the Law Firm Nouel Law Firm in Paris as a visiting foreign lawyer. In 1999, he earned an LL.M. in technology law from Santa Clara University School of Law in California, in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Gianpaolo is a member of the Milan Bar Association.
